Yo Sei Do Shiatsu School

This is a three year learning process. The first year course consists of learning basic shiatsu, such as correct posture, proper breathing, the right attitude towards shiatsu and all the basic shiatsu points. Starting from a sitting position, then working on both sides, later working on a prone person, and finally working on someone supine. Every three months there is a shiatsu test.

The second year of the course concentrates on the pathways of the 12 principal meridians and the perception of energy flow in the meridians. We also study oriental philosophy and the text of The Yellow Emperor. Depending on the timetable, there may also be an opportunity to learn about the pathways of the 8 curious meridians.

The third year of the course is mostly concerned with oriental forms of observation, and oriental diagnosis. In this year we study The 1 Ching (or Book of Changes) as well as The Yellow Emperor. The course concludes with an examination of theory and practice given by Master Kawada. During the year the courses are given on a once-a-week basis. The first year sessions include two and a half hours, and the second and third year sessions include 2 hours work.

There is also a one-week summer workshop to develop inner sensibility, and distinguish the energy flows from others. This summer workshop is aiming at personal development rather than technical knowledge. During these summer sessions works starts early in the morning and goes on till late at night.

The summer workshop will be given each year in July. It is opened to everyone and includes participants of all levels. Please use the contact page if you are interested to join.

Please note that courses and workshop are given in french and english.
Les cours et le stage sont donnes en francais et en anglais.
